These are very well made and look great but they are very uncomfortable. The toe strap is super stiff and uncomfortable between my toes. Just trying them on and walking around the house for a few minutes I started to get a blister.

As the OluKai Mekila flip-flops were not inexpensive I read some of the reviews listed herein and made note of the remarks about the “stiff” leather construction of the toe posts which for some caused discomfort. I ordered them anyway because they are so stylish. When they arrived I too found the toe posts stiff but simply applied some leather softener and when I tried them on the next morning they fit like a glove. The toe posts are sturdy and comfortable. The flip flops are solid and seem to cling comfortably to my feet with proper arch support and without the unpleasant sloppiness so common to cheaper flip-flops. The Mekila flip-flops are well worth the price.

Very comfortable high quality leather sandals as you would expect from OluKai and for something at this price point. I’ve have them a week and wear them constantly – very happy. They run small so I’d recommend ordering a size up. I usually wear a 10, and the 11’s are perfect for me.

The sandals fit good overall. I generally wear 8.5D and I ordered a 9 in the Olukai sandals; they fit perfect. They are a little stiff at first, but quickly loosen up and conform to the feet. They become very comfortable after broken in. The leather strap is soft and bends easily with foot movements. In addition, the leather covered articulated footbed provides a comfortable surface against bare feet. Strategically placed pods on the outsoles make for easy walking and good traction. Style is added with a piece of leather that covers the rest of the sole. All in all, these are a nice looking, supportive and comfortable flip flops.

These are badass!! The design and comfort next level. They do run a little small in length. I wear 15 need 15.5 for perfect fit. It’s still great.

The sandals are great, a bit tight at first, but the break-in took a week or 2. I just would put them on for a bit while walking around the house doing things and then they loosened up quite nicely. On others recommendation, I ordered a half size larger than normal and the fit was perfect.

These sandals are the greatest ever ..I am a no shoes national because of how awesome they are. All leather no nylon touches my feet,bulletproof ..I get two years of wear untill they start to look a bit worn.
Can’t quite figure out how they grip my feet even on a side hill!
I’ll never go without them.

These are absolutely beautiful, but the toe rope was too thick for me and hurt my toes. They were also a tad too wide for me. This is my 2nd pair and the other ones fit perfectly. These style just aren’t for me. Returned.

The sandals fit nice true to size and also the width is just fine. The part where the leather meets up top to the post that goes down does rub a little and it might be the stitching they used. I expect it to break in over time. It barely irritates but currently does. They are comfortable.
