I love Olukais and have 5 pairs. This is the first one I didnt like. It is too narrow and tight, and sizing up makes the sandal too long. If you have even slightly wider than average feet, dont get it. Otherwise, the sandal itself has the usual comfortable Olukai feel.

Wonderful sandal! Size 9 is perfect and even though I wear running shoes most days, these Mahas feel absolutely amazing when I change into them. I literally say “ahhh” outloud when I slip into them!
I have high arches and Mahas cradle my arch’s like a pillow! Love them. Also love the color .. my favorite!

These are very comfy and the quality is a cut above the rest, very good! I’ve read a lot of reviews about OluKai sandals, specifically about sizing up if you wear a half size (even the official FAQ recommends this). However, I’m glad I didn’t do that.
I have fairly wide feet and a flat arch, I usually wear size 10.5 US, and look for shoes that have a wider toe box. If you wear a half size shoe and you have wide feet, you probably want to size down, not up as likely your wide feet have something to do with the extra half size (I purchased a size 10).
The sandal has an indented sole for your heel, and a size 10 sandal is 11 inches long and 4.5 inches wide (at the widest point), so even with a 10.5 my feet fit perfectly and my heel settled nicely into the indent.
I have flat feet (thankfully my ankles are not collapsed as is the case with many people), and the arch support is very pronounced, but the insoles are slightly squishy and it’s not uncomfortable.
My only complaint is that the sandals are a little too narrow for my feet (as you can see in the photo), and I wish they made a version of these for people with wider feet. But, it can’t be helped and I’m kind of used to it.

This is a very heavy shoe and the straps were very tight on my feet. The arch support is great, so good for regular width – but not good if you need a wider or extra wide shoe. I will be returning this pair.

This is my second pair of Olukai sandals. I have a pair of Tuahine, which I really like and wore daily for over a year, but I wanted another pair with a softer, squishier footbed. The Maha is very comfortable. I still like my Tuahine as leather flip flops, but i did not realize how firm the footbed was until i tried these Maha. While I would not consider it “heavy”, it is definitely not a feather-light flip flop due to the substantial outsole. These are relatively slim so I would not recommended them for people with wide feet. I ordered Kona, which is almost like a greenish/gray mud color in person. If it helps, I’ve found that my size in Olukai matches my size in Nike.

Amazing! Wonderful!! These are the best sandals I have ever worn and that includes almost all of your sandals.
They are supportive, although I wish the arch support was just, just a little firmer, and they are so comfortable, because of the top layer…

These are the most comfortable flip flops I have ever worn. You can walk and stand on hard floors like concrete all day and your feet never get sore! These are my new “go to” shoes for comfort!

Best recovery sandal out there in my opinion. I just got a pair and want to buy a couple more. I wear size 11 and Olukais fit perfectly but for recovery shoes, I recommend going up a size if you have wide feet to allow the cushion to support your whole foot. I know this will be a go to for me any time of the year.

Everything feels great about the sandal. The only problem I have is with my incredibly wide feet. I usually size up with Olukai but this hasnt worked for this one. I wore it too much to try and break it in, unfortunately, so I cant swap it out. Ive had good lucky with many other from this brand, just a swing and a miss this time. But the quality and look of the sandal is fantasticjust like all their products (this if the sixth shoe/sandal Ive purchased from them).

I have flat feet and regularly need to get orthotics every 2 years so I can walk without pain.
These flip flops are the best I’ve ever owned. The comfort is incredible and I feel absolutely no pain wearing them. The arch support is perfect and does exactly what it’s supposed to do. I’m glad the flip flops are on the wider side as they completely hug your foot. Thank you for creating such a great product. I strongly recommend these to anyone that may have serious foot issues.

I own a pair of Olukai Tuahine sandals that I really like, and decided to try these as a softer/squishier sandal. These are definitely a very, very comfortable sandal. I wore them all day everyday for months. Unlike leather sandals, however, they WILL start to stink after a while.
