Comfortable slip-on shoe – with and without socks. No break-in period needed. I’m typically a 10 in other OluKai shoes; however a 10 is slightly large but a 9.5 is slightly small. I recommend sizing up for comfort.

Bought these shoes as I had good luck with a cheaper version. Usually don’t spend this much on shoes but very happy with purchase

I have feet that are frustrating to find comfortable shoes. This is my second pair of OKs. They are similar to Sketchers but better quality and more expensive and more consistent in size. Don’t usually spend this much on shoes but the style captured my fancy. Next pair of shoes will also be olu Kais

Olakai really knocked it out of the park with these shoes. The sole is sturdy yet flexible enough to feel natural. The insoles are very good quality and should last a long time. These shoes are well made and of quality materials which I’ve come to expect of Olakai. You get what you pay for!

“Order a half size smaller, you’ve been warned” the reviews said. Not me I think, I’ve always worn 11s and will continue to do so. Then the 11s arrive and slip off my feet like I’m a kid trying on his dad’s shoes. So a few days later the 10.5s arrive…and still slip off my heel. Finally, I got some 10s that do fit…and are almost the exact same size as some size 12 OluKai flip flops I own. Do NOT try to order your normal size, they will be too big. Great shoes once you find the right size.

They’re great except they smell bad. I’m hoping the stench of however they cured the leather will fade. If not, I’ll return them…

Have loved this brand before. However these shoes run very big. Usually I am a 12, rarely an 11.5, bought 11.5 and swim in them. Worse, they are way loose in the instep, the elastic is not snug at all. Tried adding an insole but that was just too mushy and made the heel pop out. Just no way to comfortably wear them. Look cool though.

I liked the size a lot. The fit was too wide for my feet. I ordered a D width. The description said it was available in “D-Medium.” The shoes I received were definitely not a D width. I’m happy with Zappos, and know that if there’s a true D width shoes, I’ll get them quickly. If you have narrow feet, make very sure you’re getting the proper D width.

This is my second, amended, review, after my chat with the very nice Zappos representative. Per my earlier review, the shoe is marketed as a “D-Medium” width. Trust me…this shoe is not a D width in any sense of the word and sadly, a true D width is not available. I’m disappointed in the way this shoe is marketed on the site, as I really like the style, and was looking forward to having my feet looking “upscale casual” as I go about my business. I received fantastic service when I chatted with the Zappos rep, so kudos to Zappos for its focus on customer service. I’ll do a return/exchange for a brand that markets its sizes with better accuracy and all will be well, for this is definitely a first-world problem.

Had to return the 11.5 size for 11 … typically wear 12 in this style shoe … the 11 fit perfect without socks

I really like the style of these shoes. I also like Hawaii. I also wanted a pair of shoes that I could wear when I’m in “Business Casual” mode. I also have ginormous, yet narrow, feet. The first time I ordered these shoes, I ordered in my size 14 D-Medium as a birthday present to myself, and yes, I look much younger than I actually am (in my mind.) The shoes looked great, but the fit was a bit too big. I was bummed. So, I decided to order a size lower in the off-chance that they’d fit better. I love Zappos’ return policy. I received excellent phone support when I called to whine about my purchase. I’m not generally the whining type, especially about shoes, and especially in these troubled times…but they were a birthday present to myself. So imagine my surprise when the new pair showed up and fit really well! A little tight in the toes, but not painfully so. I’m very pleased, and am going to wear them today as I traipse to San Francisco to deliver delicious Japanese sake to some great restaurants, and then meet a buddy of mine to have an early birthday libation. I’m very happy with the look, feel, quality, and price of these shoes. The only thing that would make me happier is knowing that the employees who worked so hard to make these shoes, the warehouse folks who picked and packed my shoes, and the drivers who delivered my shoes had the benefits of union membership, that I, as a fourth-generation union member, enjoy. I’d even pay a few bucks more, knowing that these folks could fully share in the wealth they’re helping Jeff Bezos create for himself and Amazon’s shareholders. Thanks Zappos! Great work!

Go a 1/2 size down from your usual shoe size!
Great quality and great looking leather shoe!

Had to size down a full size, and without socks there’s still just a bit or room. Consider at least a full size smaller, not sure if an extra .5 would be too much. For reference, my Sperry boat shoes are a 12 (they run small for me) and in these I have a 10.5
Jeffrey –
These shoes run really large.I had to go a size and a half down. Other than that I love the shoe and look of it
Paul –
Typically I wear size 11.5 or 12 in this style of shoe … had to reorder them in 10.5 … so a full size smaller … otherwise now love them, so so comfortable without socks

These are excellent shoes. Love them

I have 4 pairs of Olukais There sizes are all over the place. These shoes feel at least a size bigger than my other Oukais of the same size. The craftsmanship is nice, but they look cheap, not like real leather. Especially for the price. I love all my other Olukais though.

Terrible- not sized correctly. I’m always a 13, but bought a 12 because reviews said they run big. The 12 was way too big. I returned them and ordered an 11.5, which was too small. This is a shoe company, and their sizing is a joke. I’ll never by anything from olukai again.
John –
OluKai comfort and just a little dressier for work.
Michael –
These are fabulous. They are my “Outdoors, onward and upward tennis shoes.”
Bill –
Absolutely love these shoes. It took a couple tries to get the size right though. I listened to everyone that said they run large, so I ordered my first pair a half size smaller than my normal 10. They were a bit small, so the 2nd time, I ordered my regular size and they fit perfect. Anyway, if you wear a size 10, order these in a size 10.
Btw, Zappos return policy was AWESOME! They had my new pair in the mail before I could even return the old pair!
James –
These shoes (sneakers) are made of glove leather and are truly very comfortable. I liked them so much I purchased another pair in the lighter leather as well.
Bart –
Although comfortable and stylish the inners sole started to disintegrate from day one; black chunks fall out of the shoe every day. Also my heel slips with every step as the step-in design is poorly engineered. For $165 these shoes are not good.
Eric –
These look great and they are very comfortable. I have purchased OluKai shoes and sandals for years and they keep getting better. I really love these.
Gordo –
Very comfortable fit and quality.
