The shoe felt a little heavy when walking

These sandals have a narrow fit; I have narrow feet, so the fit was good and the sandals are nice looking, understated. However, I returned the sandals because they are heavy and fairly stiff. I could foresee that they would not be comfortable for walking distances. They are noisy while walking.

I thought they were very comfortable but didn’t end up keeping them bc the color was a little bit lighter than I wanted. The arch support wasn’t quite as good as other olukai flip flops I’ve had but I still LOVE all their sandals!

I love these sandals! Comfortable right out of the box with great arch support for a sandal (I have multiple different pairs from this brand and that’s a nice feature they all share!). I bought the neutral color and have been wearing it with nice shorts and sun dresses; it really looks nicer than your typical flip flop. I’ve worn this brand for years and expect this pair to last for years like all my other pairs.

I always wear a 9, and these 9s fit well. Brown was a great color. I have 76-year-old feet, so the arch support seemed blah. But the sandals are very cute!

I love OluKai sandals! They are well made with surprisingly good arch support for a flip flop. I particularly like the Aukai; the leather is very soft. These sandals are comfortable right out of the box. I have the light tan which are my go to as they are a perfect neutral; I also have the darker brown for Fall wearing with jeans. I’ve been wearing this brand for years and the sandals hold up to heavy wear.

Love love love this color! These are probably my favorite OluKai sandal–and they feel the best! I wear an 8.0-8.5 and I had to go up to a 9 in these. The 8s were just a tad too snug and my foot was slightly hanging over the side (and I don’t have wide feet).

Definitely preferred the 9s to 8s (I’m between an 8-8.5). Not sure how I feel about the light brown stripe/detail on the black straps–makes it look more sporty than dressy. But, they are the most comfortable sandals!

I love these flops. They have the webbing thing rather than leather, much more comfortable. These are not quite like the originals, the strap is a tad thinner, but the footbed is more comfy. Love this shoe, but finally had to buy a different style as these weren’t out yet. Don’t need 2. Tough to return a nearly fave.

I like the sandals – they are comfortable overall but a bit wide and I assume they will continue to stretch out with wear. I wish I hadn’t ordered the black, tho! They tend to turn your feet black!

For what they cost they were definitely not worth it. First of all they ran small. I consistently a size 7 but my toes and heels were right at the tip. The thong strap was not leather and wasn’t as comfortable as you’d expect. I purchased them because I thought they had good arch support but the arch support was insignificant. They look nice and I liked the color against my tan skin but not worth the price.

This is a beautiful, well crafted sandal. There’s 2 ways to see the OluKai Aukai ( and the Hona). They are either very sturdy and roomy, or too heavy and loose fitting. Unfortunately for me, it was the latter. The leather and contour of the sole perfect, and if I could just stand still they’d be great. But the weighty sole and too long straps made it difficult to walk. Hope they fit you better.

Like a hug for your feet! I love how the bottom is a little molded and fits nicely around your heel and the sides of your feet. I wear a size 8 and the size 8 fits me perfectly. The top strap is snug enough that I can walk comfortably without the flip flops flailing about. I also bought the Honu style to try out but decided to keep these instead.
