My new Men’s Highlands Shell Jacket is super for spring skiing or as outer shell over layers during chillier temps. Like all my Obermeyer jackets, the fit is great. Spring is a short season and I’ve never been able to find a spring jacket as many ski stores carry few if any are generally more concerned about depleting the winter inventory before breaking out all the summer sports gear. That made finding a spring jacket in my 2X size all the more difficult, but I had success with some other online Obermeyer orders, so I gave it a try and have been very satisfied. My first occasion to wear it was skiing the total solar eclipse at Sugarbush Vermont last week and what a thrill. Looking forward to many more years of spring skiing in my Highlands shell jacket and all of my other Obermeyer winter gear. Thanks for giving us 6’4″, husky skiers some great fitting ski wear. I can send photo taken during the eclipse if you send me a reminder for it and I pick it up on my phone. I’ve yet to upload them to my computer here.

This jacket is simple but also highly technical. It’s perfect for the rider or skier that wants an understated cut, with some awesome colors and just enough technical features.
The stretch fabric is absolutely great!
